This Iseli® Introduction is part of the Pacific Rim® series and is an interspecific hybrid - a Japanese and Korean Maple hybrid that features showy emerging red and orange spring, small, star-shaped leaves that fade to green in the summer months. Foliage turns a showy wine red in fall.

First Flame® Korean Hybrid Maple is a narrow tree thrives in full to partial sun in rich, fertile, evenly moist soils. It should not be allowed to dry out. It will benefit from a relatively sheltered location to protect it from strong winter winds.
